We would like to inform you that Elder Olsen arrived safely in the mission yesterday!

Elder Olsen received some training from the President and the Assistants.  We will inform you shortly who
Elder Olsen 's trainer is and where he will be serving!  The Golden's and their companion are on their way to their new area as of now.

Macrae finally made it to Philly, looking very tired, but made it.  This is Elder Macrae Olsen with President & Sister Anderson.

Well today we were supposed to go to Philly but as you may have heard or may know, where you are is that my area had a freak storm pop up out of nowhere lol. We had our tickets checked today but they immediately told us that they were canceled. So whats left of my district, then spent the next four or five hours figuring our way back here to the MTC. What an adventure that was lol, it was really fun, we talked with a few people and it was also great to just be away from the MTC. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but now that I'm here I really wish that the freak storm hadn't just popped up so randomly. I hope things are going well for all of you and that you are having a great time out there in the big world!
Sincerely,
Macrae
P.S. Have fun!!!! :D
Elder Olsen with Elder Murphey, Sister Andrus and Sister Barnum at the Salt Lake City Airport Jan. 21, 2014.
Welp it would seem that the MTC experience is coming to a close and by that I mean that I have to be up at 2:30 am tomorrow morning, so that I can get on a bus by 3:30 am, so that we can be to the airport by who knows when. I'm going to be at the Salt Lake Airport till about 7:15 am. Today we were given the chance to talk with a girl from China who is going to BYU and is interested in the church. Wish I could have gotten pictures.

First week of the MTC

Welp I'm through my first week here at the MTC with only one more to go. Its been alright here, way different then I ever thought it would be. I think its alright here, love the people here but at the end of the day I don't hate the MTC but I can't say that I would friend it on facebook either. My companion is great, Elder Murphy is his name and he is from Seattle and was a Marine before coming here. He's really awesome though at first neither one of us really talked with each other for the first few days since we are both a bit shy, but now we are best buds as goes for the rest of my small group known as a district here. In my group there are two other guys along with four other girls. We all seem to get a long just fine and we've had some good times together thus far. I've got one more week here (thank goodness) before I'm on my way to Philly and I'm really excited about this since I won't have to look at the same tan yellow bricks which every MTC building is coated with. I could really use some variety in the colors I look at here ;). I hope yall are doing well and having a great time in the things that you are doing and I can't wait to hear from yall. If ya send me a message I'll send one that isn't for an entire group but just for you as soon as I can!

Reporting for "Mission Possible"

Macrae entered the MTC on January 8, 2014.  We were able to meet up with grandparents for lunch and pictures at the Provo Temple, before dropping Macrae off. Watch out Pennsylvania, here he comes!
